I wanted to share some exciting stuff the Lord has been doing. The conference I went to back in October was called Sound the Call. It is held through the Florida Baptist Children’s Home Sanctity of Life division. They promote life by helping to open new pregnancy centers in the state and encouraging & training directors & staff at them. One of the ways they do this is through this yearly conference where they teach and inspire.

A short time after the conference the director invited me to become a trainer. So last week I went on a two day all expenses paid trip to Orlando to learn how to teach volunteers Focus on the Heart. It is a method of training volunteers that do counseling at pregnancy centers.  read more »

An abortion nurse is quitting! We never see the staff at the Central Ave location. But this morning a nurse walked from the back parking lot towards the front door. I asked her if she worked there. She replied as she lowered her head & shook it, "I’m quitting, I’ve been here twelve years, I can't do it anymore"! I so wish she stayed to talk with me more. What victory! I pray every time I’m there for the staff to be convicted & quit.

After much prayer, I am not going to lead a 40 Days for Life campaign. Instead I’m leading a campaign to reach pastors. I am putting together a short video with the help of Tom T. My goal is to get it into the hands of pastors in St. Pete. They have the power to get their congregations involved in this spiritual battle.

Praise God for godly techies! Shawn O. got my new MP3 video player up and running with dozens of resources on it to show women at the abortion mills. I have things like sonograms, testimonies from women that put their babies up for adoption, stages of pregnancy, the abortion process, and other great stuff.

I found a charger for my microphone that I lost, I’m not sure it’s the one that goes with it, but it seems to work. And someone I don’t know well, that comes out & holds a sign occasionally, came out for a little while this afternoon so I wasn't completely alone. Also two cars stopped to thank me or give me a thumbs up while I was ministering today, which was encouraging.

I shared the gospel with a guy that brought his girlfriend to kill they baby today. She still went through with it, but I had an excellent conversation with him before she came out & dragged him inside. He was definitely convicted, please pray for Will.

A woman came today and left about an hour later. The doctor wasn’t there yet, so she didn’t abort. I don’t think she will. As she was leaving she gave me a little reassuring smile.

My new sign is getting rave reviews! I mean the staff is furious at me, because it is so powerful! They yelled at us at one mill & called the police at the other about it. The police came, smiled at us, went in to talk to them & then left without talking to us. Praise God!

A wonderful Spanish couple from my church is reproducing my brochure, so I can hand them out to women in Spanish. And my good friend Tom got her on tape talking to the women, so I can show it to women at the mill on my new MP3 video player. I’m hoping to do the same in Chinese. Soon there will be a link on my website to get this free resource for all of you that do sidewalk counseling.

I have been praying for a MP3 video player to show videos to women at the abortion mills. Praise God someone bought one for me. Another great friend is going to put several videos I picked out on abortion, adoption, and testimonies on it for me, since I am clueless how to do it.

This morning a couple came out of the abortion mill a little while after going in. The woman was very upset. They walked on the other side of the building and I followed them. I asked if I could help them. He became very angry and shouted profanity at me. Another older women (probably her mother) then came out, they all got in their cars. The older women rolled down her window & said, “this is your fault, people have a choice in this country”. Then she said, “she won’t do it because of you”. I wanted to do a happy dance but controlled myself.

Thank you for your prayers! She left because of your prayers as well!

This made the staff angry, so they called the police again on me to say I was on their property (I’ve never been on their property). They came out, but never even talked to me. Thank you Jesus for your favor.

I was by myself this morning packing up my stuff to leave when a couple told me, “we are leaving because of you”. That’s when I noticed their eyes were red like they had been crying. They weren’t even the couple I talked with for a long time this morning. They were one of the couples I barely said anything to.

As they drove away he said one of the most beautiful things I have ever heard, “thank you, we are leaving because you were out here”.

There are other answered prayers as well. I have had some positive responses to the 40 Days for Life vigil that I spoke at. Five new people are coming out to pray during abortion times. Keep praying, I still need someone regularly to come out on Wednesday afternoons.

Pray for Baby Doe. His parents wanted to kill him today, but she was too far along. They talked to me and they seemed a little swayed, but they still might go to Tampa for a late term abortion. Another women left this afternoon. She didn’t talk to me, so all I can do is hope it was a save.

Thank you for all those that sent positive emails supporting what I do & say. I can never express to you how much they mean to me. I often feel very alone in this mission. I read the Bible a lot to remind myself of those that have gone through so much worse than me and the faith they held on to. I would never, I mean never do this if I didn’t know that I know, that I know God called me to it. Honestly, I wanted to be an evangelist and travel the world. God had other plans. I have occasionally mentioned I needed prayer about my finances, but ultimately I have trusted God. He has been very faithful to me. Please pray God would guide me what to do next because I can’t do billboards or even continue to do this ministry full-time unless I get the financial support I need.  read more »
